What Started It All
The Trappist monks of Belgium knew what they were doing when they created the first Trappist Style Belgium Ale. Called a ‘Tripel’ for it’s strong taste, this Studio Brew beer slowly gives way to the fruity esters implied by our Belgian yeast strain. There’s more alcohol in the glass and bold Belgium sugars, but the taste is crisp and dry with a beautiful coriander clove flavor. The color is deep golden and although the Belgium Tripel hasn’t been around more than 80 years, it’s one of the most popular craft beers in America.
